Cook for Change 2026 is a free seven-month programme (June–December) run by Cook for Good, helping community food organisations build income through trading rather than relying solely on grants.
It’s aimed at founders, directors, or CEOs of organisations supporting people with cost-of-living pressures — such as food banks, community cafes, growing projects, or food poverty initiatives. There’s a particular interest in those working with people in social housing.
Participants get a three-day bootcamp, monthly expert sessions, one-to-one coaching, and access to specialist advisors. By the end, they’ll have a business plan, a theory of change, and a pilot trading venture up and running — with continued support after the programme too.
