Free land-based skills and nature connection session.
Wild Days offer a balance between being and doing, between slowing down and activity.
Each session includes simple nature-based practices that help us slow down, tune into our senses, and notice the world around us. In the afternoons, we lend our hands to wildlife-friendly farming and conservation activities, developing skills that deepen our understanding of how people and nature can nourish each other and support wildlife-friendly farming.
What to expect:
Opening check-in and grounding practice
Time to grow our attention and connection through mindfulness, crafts, stories and sit spot practices.
Practical care for the farm’s hedgerows, wildflower meadows, forest garden, pond, and agroecological area-Depending on time of year.
These sessions are open to everyone and offer something a little different from regular volunteering, blending practical skills with connection, crafts, and time to simply be outdoors.
This is a free event but does require registration and is for ages 18 and over.
